Heads up: this is another episode of The Electric Hydra Internet Radio Show where Joseph and I talk about sports. For about 10 minutes or so, we break down this week’s Titans vs Colts match-up. Topics include: how beastly Andrew Luck is, the Peyton Manning Face, and how crappy the AFC continues to be.

Later, we do talk about some video games. Specifically, Joseph talks about his time with “Borderlands 2″ and I try to convince Joseph that “XCOM” rocks. After this we somehow start talking about consoles, PC, next gen, and modern console user experiences. NEAT.

94 – Sports, User Experiences, and Borderlands 2

Ever wanted to listen to four dudes on a podcast talk about roguelikes, punitive design, and farts? Hope so, because that’s what we did on this week’s episode. “FTL: Faster Than Light” takes center stage, as it sparks a conversation about luck and progression across a variety of games. But we also give some time to “Dishonored” and the new “XCOM,” both of which are fantastic games, too.

I think we’re all pretty stoked about this week’s episode, so we hope you like it. Lots of video games this week, and it sounds like we’ll have a lot more games to talk about the next time we can find a time to meet. Neat!

93 – Linde Knowledge Bomb

This week’s episode of The Electric Hydra Internet Radio show is a life show, which may or may not be what you’re looking for depending on your expectations for this podcast in general. Obviously, Borderlands 2 is out. That’s a big deal for Anthony. So, I wanted to try to capture this moment in audio form and maybe give you guys a glance at what this is like. Games take years to make, man, and now his is FINALLY out, you know? It’s sort of a big deal.

Other subjects this week include Topher’s dog, gold-starring games, and a mission in BL2 that old Podtoid fans will definitely get a kick out of.

As I say at the top of this one, the next time we meet, we’ll definitely talk about some more video games. I’ve got a cool plan to make that happen, possibly sooner than later. We’ll see.

92 – What’s Up, Guys?

Hi! This week, Joseph and Brad discuss the latest Madden, Madden 13. Also, we talk about real football. All of this takes a total of 16 or so minutes, if you want to skip all the sports junk. After this, Joseph gives me his thoughts on LA Noire, and somehow we end up talking about Max Payne 3. Weird, right?

Hey, we’re back. This week on The Electric Hydra Internet Radio Show Aaron, Anthony, and I talk about video games. Specifically, we shoot the breeze about an upcoming iPad game called “Gasketball,” “Anarchy Reigns,” and touch on teaching others how to play MOBAs.

On this week’s episode of The Electric Hydra Internet Radio Show, Joseph and Brad talk about all sorts of stuff. We talk lightly about “Spec Ops: The Line” and “Spelunky,” but go pretty in-depth with the latest “Mass Effect 3,” which is basically terrible. As with all our podcasts, expect some discussion of the gym, carbs, and Joseph’s house.

After that, Anthony and Brad argue about Ridley Scott’s new sci-fi flick Prometheus. Wow! So, it’s been awhile. But, hey, here’s the first episode in our Max Payne Game Club Thing That We Agreed To Do A Billion Years Ago series. As you’ll notice, it’s just me and Joseph. There’s a few reasons for that, and we dive into those at the top of the new podcast. The short version is that all our personal lives are changing or our days are getting busier. We do the best we can to give you what we can, so hopefully this feels like enough. If not, sorry bros.
